Kingdom work
“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor:” Ecclesiastes 4:9
The Kingdom Network of Worcester (KNOW) * is an informal and interdenominational network of Christians, churches, and ministries. It is made up of people who follow Jesus Christ, who love the city of Worcester, and who want to see His rule expanded within our city through established and new local churches and ministries. We want each church and ministry to maintain its unique identity and calling from God while discovering ways that we can form partnerships for the greater advance of the Lord’s work. Ultimately, we are searching for those who are praying, “Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done in Worcester as it is in Heaven.”
:
KNOW is focused on:
PRAYER:
· We will gather together with willing Christians to pray for the expansion of God’s kingdom in the city of Worcester. This is essential and foundational.
RELATIONSHIP BUILDING:
· We will publish a Worcester church and ministry Directory for those wishing to be included, and disseminate copies freely with all who share our commitment to Christ in our aspirations. We pray that God uses the information in the directory (1) to encourage His people with what He is doing visibly and invisibly in our city; (2) to show His people where there are ministry voids and opportunities here, and (3) to help people with common visions, passions, ministries discover each other and see the synergistic value of working together.
· It is expected that KNOW’s research, communications, and publications, both printed and electronic, will help facilitate new church and ministry starts and serve as a support to existing churches and ministries looking to expand their vision and their impact for the Kingdom through the networking of Kingdom-minded people and groups.
ORGANIC GROWTH:
· We will pray that kingdom-expanding, cooperative efforts will organically grow out of these relationships under the prompting and guidance of the Holy Spirit. We believe that God works most powerfully when believers work together to advance His work.
KNOW trusts God to make His calling and direction clear as we move into the future and work together for the expansion of His Kingdom in our city.
We welcome those with a commitment to follow the biblical Jesus Christ, the crucified Lord and Savior of the world, to join us in this effort.
